Emergency First Response
Primary Care (CPR) and
Secondary Care (First Aid) courses
teach you how to provide emergency care for someone in need. They
are designed to meet the needs
of a wide range of people and
are NOT
diver specific, although they
are a prerequisite for
Rescue Diver training. The courses make learning easy by providing a non-stressful environment
in which participants practice and apply emergency care skills. The
courses are designed to :
Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care courses are based on internationally
recognised medical guidelines published by the Basic Life
Support (BLS) Working Group and the International Liaison
Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR)
Completing
this course meets the
requirement for becoming an
Appointed Person
the minimum requirement
for meeting Health and Safety
legislation in low risk
workplaces.
The
Care for Children course covers 14
key skills to enable you to provide care to infants (under one
year old) and children, between 1 and 8 years old.
An
extended (12 hour) course is available for Childminders and
others who provide professional care for children, please call

DELS training combines European
Resuscitation Council
Guidelines with knowledge of the physiology of diving,
ensuring best clinical
practice in the treatment of
injured divers, regardless
of the aetiology of their
condition.
Ranging from Pulmonary
Barotraumas to Acute
Progressive Neurological
Decompression Illness, DELS
training ensures you do the
most for your dive buddy
prior to, and during their
evacuation by the most
appropriate method, to a
Category-1 Recompression
Chamber or A&E Emergency
Department.
All course material follows
the Generic Core Material of
the Faculty of Pre-Hospital
Care from the Royal College
of Surgeons, (Edinburgh).
